REV Victor-World's Longest Throwing LED Light

I was only partially joking.

If Michael lists an even more spectacular thrower than the Enthusiast, I'd probably buy it. That won't happen for a year or two, luckily.

I'm trying to hold back buying a second Rev Victor Enthusiast before they are Out of Stock.

My justification is that I am waiting for the Super-Enthusiast.

Go for it. Aim em at the same target...... 2.6 million cd I'll say it again 2 . 6 m i l l i o n c d AKA laser equivalent. Lol

So I just checked One Stop this morning and noticed that the Victor, and Victor Enthusiast are both "out of stock". It would appear that they are all sold now so congratulations to everybody here who snagged one.

The Rev Victor may now be "Out of Stock" since Michael is converting future completed Victors into soon-to-be-completed Victor Enthusiasts. He had a lot more orders for the Enthusiasts.

I don't understand your post star, ALL the victors are out of stock, both types. There were only 24 total of which more were for the Enthusiast model and only maybe two for the regular Victor. They are both showing out of stock so unless I'm missing something the party is over and the lights are all gone.

My comment was only meant to show why the Rev Victor is now out of stock. Initially, Michael thought most people would go for the Victor, and not the Enthusiast.

I'm surprised the Enthusiast took this long to become out of stock. We're all Flashlight Enthusiasts on this site, wanting more throw, more lumens, more whatever.

They are out of stock because they got sold. Again, unless I'm missing something. I am aware some of the regular Victors needed to be converted to Enthusiasts but that has no bearing on wether they are available for purchase.

I don't want to speak for Saabluster, but my understanding is/was that Michael only had 24 hosts and my assumption parts to build 24 lights total.

I matters not what the mix of regular to Enthusiasts were sold, just that 24 host bodies were available.

I also read that the forecast in sales, regular Victor's to the Enthusiasts surprised Michael and he had to go back into lights built to rework them into the Enthusiast version.

Any way you figure it, if if Saabluster isn't able to procure more hosts and Wavien collars, there won't be any more lights built the same way these lights are. I'd think with the lack of communication from Wavien, these will be the end of Wavien collars being used in lights in present form.

Thank-you.

That is what I was trying to say, but I didn't spell it out as clearly as you did.

The bottom line is that neither are available anymore.

At least the Deft edc X's are still "in Stock". (I am quite happy with mine)

Having bought from Michael many times in the past, and having followed his forum for years, I've learned to be patient. Michael is a perfectionist and it will take a little while to reconfigure the pre-assembled Victors into Victor Enthusiasts and to assemble the other Victor Enthusiasts from the parts he has on hand. I know that my light will come when Michael has it ready. I can ask for no more.

Hmmm I just paid off that hefty visa bill lol... When are we getting the lights? :)

Luckily for me, the REV Victor Enthusiast went out of stock before I bought a second one.

My invoice number is #1585, and I haven't yet received shipping notification. Someone who was #1581 (I think) received their notification a couple days ago.

Our time will come soon (as will our flashlights), so I'm not worried, just impatient.

Same can be said about the deft edc. He found a way to get more throw. He wants it to be perfect and i have no issue waiting if it means an amazing product in the end. He is the throw master !!!

Possibly 2.6 million in BEAM INTENSITY where the Two beams converge [meet]......... but NOT in distance of beam travelling........that is the way I look at it,no matter what teej says! :nana:

LOL

The beams will both travel an infinite distance, but become progressively harder to see as per the inverse square law.

So, if you shine two identical lights at the same spot, the lux will be doubled as compared to using just one of them.

:D

If you can see, say 5 lux, but not 2.5 lux, on the target being discussed at the range in question...

The two lights on the same target will PROVIDE that 5 lux at a greater distance than the one light could.

As the range at which one of them would give that 2.5 lux, and the target not be visible, the second light would then make that target visible...so, you would be able to see a more distant target when also using the second light.

Hope that helps!

Massive 16 gauge wires make it "fun" to wire up.
