REV Victor-World's Longest Throwing LED Light

To the people who have received their lights, does it require a signature upon delivery? Mine is scheduled for delivery tomorrow but I won't be home so I'm trying to cover all the bases and have a neighbor sign for it if need be.

Mine was scheduled to arrive yesterday, but was delayed due to the Christmas mailings. Not really a big surprise.

It will almost certainly arrive tomorrow, since it is now at the local mail hub around 5 miles away.

I already have the batteries available and charged for it, and for the two other Saabluster flashlights I'm expecting.

I'm in the same boat, with an expected delivery of sometime Monday. According to postal service tracking it took 22 hours for my light to travel from the airport to my local post office which is 15 miles away!

Amazingly enough, my REV Victor Enthusiast arrived about a half-hour ago, on a SUNDAY! Must be because it was sent Priority Mail, and was already late.

Just started playing with it, but it is noticeably more powerful than my 1021 Kcd DEFT-X.

I've been taking with my fill in postman the past couple of weeks about lights and other items. He told me that they local PO added two additional mail carriers to handle the increased holiday traffic. They've been placed on mandatory 7 day a week until the first of the year.

As a side, the local UPS terminal also placed all of their office personnel on 7 day a week, 12 hour days. They had to rent additional trucks as their business forecasts showed they were going to receive a 7% increase in demand, but it's running over 11% as Amazon sales verses brick and motor stores are doing much better.

How about everyone posting the tested output of your light when you receive it? I assume there won't be too much deviation from one to another.
Mine is 1400Kcd. :twothumbs
I only have three batteries so I can't compare it side by side with my original Deft X but I assume there will be quite a noticeable improvement.

WOW....1400Kcd! You will without a doubt see a difference. My Deft X is 1032Kcd and I am sure I will be able to see a difference to. Cant wait to get mine.

I just got mine as well, delayed delivery on a Sunday! It looks like I'm on the "low" side with 1,212,000 Kcd! Time to take this girl out and fire her up,as there's plenty of clouds out tonight.

1200Kcd is still great. I'm sure you'll still be grinning ear to ear when you fire this up. I still can't believe how awesome my Deft X is!

1,212,000 Kcd? I thought these were suppose to be 1,300,000Kcd Typical?

The Victor is advertised as 1.3mill Cd. If I get a 1.2 I'll be a little disappointed. Although I'm not sure if I can see the 100k difference but still

Don't quote me on this, but I thought in the past, Michaels lights had about a plus or minus 7% output range as it's virtually impossible to get them all exactly the same. I remember seeing the variations when I got my Deft X and people started posting their light ratings.

The lights are listed as having a tolerance of +/_7%. The 1300kcd nominal allows 91kcd, which the 1212kcd falls into.

My light, which I believe was the first shipped is listed as 1312kcd.

For a light of this size, I'm very impressed. Compared against my Maxa Beams, not so much. They're two different lights. The Rev Enthusiast weighs in under two pounds, the Maxa Beam, 7 plus pounds.

Mine is 1255 Kcd.

I was a little disappointed, but not much. It is very close to 1300 Kcd.

However, since I also ordered a second Rev Victor Enthusiast, I emailed Michael to see if he could try getting it "closer" to 1400 Kcd. It basically is the luck of the draw, although the draw endpoints are relatively close. But I emailed to see if I could affect the draw in my favor, at least slightly.

If I feel underpowered, I'll aim both Enthusiasts at the same spot and see what 2600 Kcd looks like.
