well I was tempted to brink a strobe flashlight to a rock concert, and i did that on Saturday.

I was quiet playing good guy when one of the stage technicians starting flashing his multi led headlamp at us. I strobed back while it was dark, but then teh light man shot his real strobe lights. I sucked my wounded pride and went back into swinging on the music....

enjoy guys this is play too....Kostas

I always take a flashlight with me to shows. I go to at least 15 a year at the Greek theater and Universal amphitheatre. Between acts I will often use a flashlight to light the stage. I always use the strobe before the ENCORE. Sort of like the lighter thing back in the day.
Recently I went to a Neil Young show at a new concert hall in LA called the Nokia...There was a specific reference to NO FLASHLIGHTS being allowed in the venue.
I brought one in anyway.

Our little flashlights don't make a dent in things when the show lights are on but when the house is dark I find it amazing just how much a little flashlight can show you..like between songs and the roadies are setting stuff up.
I almost always keep it to short bursts in order to keep the security goons off my ***.
Green lasers are also great to take to shows... One which is NOT bright enough to show the BEAM is best for concerts so it is more difficult to find the source...You. In case where less is more since the green dot is totally visible by everybody in the arena even if the laser is not the most powerful.

My brother saw Lynyrd Skynyrd at Gator Growl (world's largest student run pep rally) last month. During Freebird he said that everyone had out their lit up cell phones. He said he wished he'd had a lighter.

Haha. Sounds like a good place for a Fenix with it's unfortunately shaped diffuser (in strobe mode). What WERE they thinking when they designed that thing anyways? Yeesh!
