I can see that a few people have looked at this thread. Maybe none of you are familiar with RGM watches. I think it's more likely that some of you are aware of RGM, but just don't own one. I think they only make about 300 per year.

They turn up on used on www.timezone.com periodically, but you'll have to keep looking. I got an opportunity to tour his shop a couple of years ago (it's in an old bank building...saved installing a safe) and it's very impressive. They do a lot of high-end repair/custom work in addition to making the RGM line.
I was fascinated by the old, hand-operated "rose engine" they use to to the engraving of the "cotes de geneve" on the dial and bridges. It's sort of a leather belt driven analog computer that is "programmed" with multiple complex cams in a cassette.
