Farewell our Curmudgeon Administrator
This runtime polot is for the Li14430 light. This light uses a Li-14430 rechargeable battery.
Equipment used is a Extech Mdl 401021 Light Adapter into a Radio Shack 22-805 multimeter with a PC interface that is using SscopeView software (V1.08).
The vertical axix is in 0.07 V/div or 0.03 V/div. The Light Adapter is calibrated such that 1mV is equivalent to 1Fc @ 1Ft. The horizontal axis is in minutes (15/div or 30/div).
Each of the plots was performed with freshly charged batteries
Li-14430 at 510 mA
Runtime to 50% max brightness = 1hr 14min
Li-14430 at 110mA
Runtime to 50% max brightness = 5hr 33min
Look here for a very detailed tech specs and discussion about this light.
When I told DougS that the little light might not make it back home, I was informed that he knew several VooDoo Masters that could make my life a living hell if the light DID NOT make it home!
One sweet little light!
