This runtime plot is for a Brinkmann LX that is modded by CPF member "milykspit"and is now called the Milkmann LX. It has a prototype heat sink and a Lux III 3w led. Two SureFire CR123 Li batteries were used.

Equipment used is an Extech Mdl 401021 Light Adapter into a Radio Shack 22-805 multimeter with a PC interface that is using ScopeVier software (V1.08).

The vertical axis is 0.15vDC per division which is equivalent to 150Fc @ 1Ft. The horizontal axis is 30 minutes per division.

Be aware that your actual battery milage may vary from that indicated by this runtime plot.

Runtime = 1h 2m

Notice that at the end of eight hours of continous usage, the Milkmann LX is still putting out 23Fc @ 1Ft!!

Many thanks, Roy, for testing my silly little mod. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinser2.gif

Phaser, the Milkbone already has its own thread, although it hasn't been updated in a while. It's over here.

As for the Milkmann LX, a thread is probably the right thing to do, and I will... I really will! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ohgeez.gif Just as soon as I take some photos so everyone knows what it is. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif

Thanks for the reminders though! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif
