Has anyone tested the WA1160 on 5AA or 5 1/2D to see how much it sags?
I like WA1160 for best compromise for long bulb life and brighteness.
I am thinking using MAG 2D body with 8AA, PLUS Willy Hunt's voltage regulator. That would give me the flat output I always dreaming for. But the cost is the major factor that I haven't done it yet.
If it doesn't sag too much with 5AA then I may settle for it now till I am willing to buy the voltage regulator.
