I've had about 10 minutes to play with the light now. I first tossed in a primary CR123a and it didn't look that bright. I finally found a RCR123a (not fully charged) and it got brighter.

My initial impressions:
This is one beefy light. It's got some weight to it. I checked the mail with a Ti PD, and this has quite a heaftier/beefier feel to it. When opening the light to install a battery, the threads are silky smooth, yet without any slop. VERY WELL DONE !!! Overall an A+. I'm impressed.
