Interesting looking concept. Some of them are sort of pretty. However they're goign to be way too fragile. Normally the gripping action needed to install or remove them spreads the twisting force across the entire spiral or column evenly. I can see these things shattering very easily.

Despite there being an abundance of producers, we see only three basic bulb formats available: The Radiator, The Ice Cream Whip and the Tungsten-esc types.

I'm wondering if the designer even asked himself why that is so?

They're probably a PITA to manufacture, for one thing.
