I'm looking for inexpensive very small, self-powered (doesn't need a separate poser supply to operate) led panel Voltmeters with approx specs below.
Common size seems to be about 1.38 x 3/4 with about 3/8 digits.
Need it to read from +-5 VDC to +-20VDC.
Red, blue or green leds

Note: Ebay has tons of them but theyre over 3 wide. They also have some smaller meters that require a separate 5V power supply. These run anywhere from $1.00 to about $10.00. Im not knowledgeable enough to know why some require separate power supplies and some dont but this seems to make a huge difference in price in the very small size meters.
In searching the WEB, I have found exactly what I want but they are about $40.00 each. Maybe this is the best price thats out there and what theyre worth, but I thought Id ask around. Not sure why such a big diff in price btw Ebay and the Digikeys, Mousers, etc. It would be nice to know from those in the know.
