Seeking opinions on Combat Elite carbon fiber dagger

I've been curious about this (knife?) since I first saw it in a knife magazine a couple years ago.

Is this thing a feasible weapon or is it more of a curiosity? (I can't imagine it's intended for its sharp and durable cutting edge.)

Maybe its "thing" is that it's light and won't bother metal detectors. :shrug:

Anyhow, their stuff is pretty expensive.

It's a carbonfiber shank. That's all. The tip is exceedingly fine and will probably snap off the first time you use it. Not for utility, it's only use is as a last-ditch, concealable weapon.
