Re: Seoul P4 Custom MagLite

Would this light compare favourably to a stock magcharger for throw and brightness?

Hi Mac,
Any time-line on these as to when we need to pay, or when ETA is?
Thanks

I have all the parts in route to complete up to 10 lights. ETA to ship should be no more than 2 weeks if the parts arrive as they should.

Sorry Mac for my thoughts, but since I had a stock MC and have a few experiences with Led-lights and according to your measurements and setup I would say, yes it's comparable unless better in throw.
Besides the other advantages like smaller, diff. bightness levels, never changing a bulb, much more runtime (with a few spare cells even more) and, perhaps the important reason:

One of a few build by a master modder:whistle:

Best regards

I think I am just resigned to being an LED Noob. My first real light about 15 months ago was the SF-L2, and I wet my pants with excitement. Showing it to everyone I knew...then the M4....but since going to hotwires....it just seems like LED's are not in the same league. I really hate not knowing more about them whenever something of obvious quality from Mac comes out like this. Oh well....I'm an LED noob....Damn it! LOL!

I can't wait to have this "midget" mag next to my magcharger and have it throw about the same. 20K lux is impressive, and it is amazing when it comes outta something this small! I can't wait Mac....

For smaller lights, its hotwires that are not in the same league.
Try finding a hotwire the size of a draco that puts out that much light.

Re: Seoul P4 Custom MagLite

This is going to limited to 10 lights. Also on another note the prototype was made from a body that I had already machined for a different project. The newly made lights will have the Knurling more centered and possibly be up to 1 inch shorter.
