I was messing around with the various light stuff I had and tried out my B65 (from KR1 I bought for my G2) in my 3x123 2C body Maglite. Used the standard PVC pipe that I use for spacing the SF123's. I used the voltage meter on the B65 before putting it together. It was slightly discharged from occasional use and ran 5V from my Radio Shack volt meter. I used a 3-cell Xenon MagnumStar bulb I picked up at Sears.
Seemed just as bright as my 3x123 w/ KPR112 combo. Plus it's rechargeable. With the slightly sputtered reflector and that bulb, it focuses like a laser-beam. The hot spot is maybe 1 foot around at 20-30 feet. Pretty nice. I think the quality of their bulbs is up a few notches.
