I'm about to order the a19 and p91 for my SF 6P. Will this give the same brightness as the Magcharger?

For some reason I've began disliking flashlights with less than 5W or about 60 lumen output. Why? well...I've used my Surefire 6p for a year /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif The 6p is great for close->mid range work. However, the Magcharger is something else. The brightness is perfect for mid->long distances, and walking my dog when it's dark becomes a dream. The poor beam pattern/quality is not important at long distances, so I don't care about that.

Now I'm looking for a flashlight equal or better than the Magcharger in terms of brightness, size and run time, but it's not supposed to be rechargeable. I've only found 3-cell Surefires with p90 lamp that fits the describtion, except from the shorter run time. Do you have any suggestions ?

By the way, for the first time I saw the Ultrastinger in action. I didn't like the design at all, it felt huge, ugly and not practical. The beam is nicer, but I'm glad i bought the Magcharger.

My quest for a MagCharger is also because the UltraStinger was is a huge let down. The TigerLight paid for itself in one use.

Trying to compare a 1" diameter reflector SureFire with a MagCharger/UltraStinger/TigerLight will give you results that depend on what you are really after. The 9P will not have a tight beam but it will give you lots of pure white light at close ranges and then maybe it'll be holding it's own against the larger lights.

If you want a tighter beam from your SureFire then you will need to get a TurboHead. If you want to carry a "9P" + TurboHead then a BlackHawk M6 pouch is the best way I've found.

As for which TurboHead, I'd use the either the KT2 or SRTH from LPS with N2 lamp.
