Beautiful machining on the SF III ~ I've never seen one up close in hand. Is beam profile smooth, using ceiling bounce, with the faceted reflector?

Not sure, #3 may be . Has a firm click. Just checked Judco switches out, looks like a quality switch.
If you check out Judco Kroll switch you might find something interesting then. I won't derail the thread further, i just haven't seen those on flashlights in ages.

Well, I never did a ceiling bounce test till now! Outside and straight ahead use it has a descent beam with a wide hotspot with a nice wide flood.
Inside, close to the ceiling or wall its a different story, you can actually see the seams of the reflector on the outside edge, like a ray of sunshine ☀️ Actually looks pretty neat.
