Shims for PR based bulbs

Where do you get these? I have several potted WA lamps that are off center and I want to center them.

Jody,

I have shims for you, but they won't help you center the filaments. The best thing to do is as follows. If you have a spare Mag PR bulb pedestal.

1. Remove the heavy metal sleeve and retaining collar from the rest of the switch.
2. insert the bulb capsule-side down, into the part where the spring contact is, with the PR base sticking up where the bulb capsule normally sits.
3. Look down the inside of the sleeve and look at the center of the filament.
4. Grab the PR base with some pliers and bend the base in the opposite direction the filament is leaning.
5. This bends the flange.
6. insert in light and check alignment.

I forgot who first told me about this method but it works and I've been able to fix mostly any bulb I've had.
