Could anybody spare a SF catalog? I haven't been checking CPF as often and totally spaced on about asking for one in advance.
:thanks:

qarawol, Patty and I got our leather key fobs. Really cool. Patty loves her pink one. Thanks,

Bill

Late to post due to computer is still in Costa mesa. Vegas is ~310 miles south of Hawthorne on US 95. Didn't think I needed a steenkin map. Was running on fumes when I finally found a station somewhere in Death Valley! :green:

Heard my name called at the show- Was Greta with KC. Fortunately I was wearing my CPF polo from the way back gear offer. 😀

The Show was good as usual, but the PARTIES! I am favorably impressed with the 2x AAA Preon I received at David's GTG. Then all the stuff at MattK's party including a Surefire Saint headlight. I was starting to worry about how I was going to carry it all, when I won a Maxpedition backpack! :grin2:

It was good meeting up with many old friends in the community. Thank you, MrMom for the organizational work!

Booth booked. Considering making it bigger. Hiring Staff. Designing backdrops and marketing stuff. Still tired and behind on emails/phone calls.

I think we might need a bigger suite next year....

The whole trip to Vegas was a totally amazing fun adventure for me. I had never been to Vegas before and this was a really fantastic way to do it the first time.

It was also my first SHOT show, and I cannot tell you how cool it was to see all of the stuff at the show, meet so many CPF'ers and attend the parties and get the free bling. I stuck close to Data and Dizzy and they did not seem to mind me being their shadow.

I arrived two days before the show and spent a day each at the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. I figured that if I was going all the way there from Jersey, I might as well take in some scenery. And amazing man made and naturals sights they were!

I suggested to Data that we upgrade the hike idea on Saturday to an "extreme" ATV ride and Dizzy and Data were into it. I had very limited experience on an ATV while Data and Dizzy were expert ATV and dirt bike riders. Data let me come over his house and tear up his front lawn getting some familiarity with his ATV so that I would do better in the desert with those two guys.

We paid a little extra to get our own guide just for the three of us so that I would be the only slow poke in the bunch. It was weird for me to be riding on 4 wheels instead of the two I am used to with the Segway. But I have to say that I had the best time riding a super machine along some really rough trails and around some truly amazing scenery.

We traveled along flat prairie-like conditions, snow covered trails, steep and winding mountain trails, gravel roads, asphalt roads, whoops big enough to make a sea captain seasick, and a high speed run along a totally flat dry lake bed. It was an amazing 60 miles over 2.5 hours!!!

I want to thank so many people, but here are a few: Mr. Mom for all of the planning, legwork and cat herding he did to keep up entertained, David at 4-Sevens and Matt at Battery Junction for the wonderful parties and giveaways, Greta and all of the CPF'ers that I got to meet in person for the first time, and Data and Dizzy for showing me how to Do Vegas!

It was an fantastic week I will never forget.

Great write-up Stan! It was a pleasure to spend the time with you and Dave.

As I said before, you did extremely well on the ATV, for your first time on a real modified race quad. They were powerful machines, and you didn't let it buck you off even once.

I know it would not have been as much fun without you guys and I will always remember the fun we had.

I would love to do it again, in a few years, when my bank balance is back up there. 😀

Hi Everyone.

I am looking for some advice. I would really like to attend the 2011 Shot Show, but I don't know how to start. Do you have to be invited by an exhibitor?

I am from England, so it would be a real pain to travel all that way and not be able to get in!

Thank you - Pete.

Technically, you do. But CPF'ers are a creative bunch. We always have a way to get in, so don't worry: we'll make sure you get an invitation from an exhibitor. 😀

You fly over - you'll get in, no prob.

Wow thanks Dad!

I will book the flights - I am looking forward to meeting you. Mrs Noggin is looking forward to meeting the Vegas Buffet's!

Any more info on Vegas would be most welcome - I will keep my eyes peeled for the 2011 thread.

Cheers - Pete.

Another year passes, CPF at SHOT 2011 is in the works. Stay tuned, the logistics thread will open soon.

For those inquiring regarding SHOT passes, book now but stay tuned for further information, as Dad mentioned, you will get in.

Our Fearless Leader of the SHOT Show has spoken! Thank you, MrMom! That's the first indication that someone is once again stepping up to organize the CPF gatherings.

So, wait, normal people can get in?

I might just live on crackers and water for the next two years if I could actually fly to Vegas and get in to SHOT next year.😱

edit - forget it, can't go anyway. I'll see you in 2013 I guess. <_<

I'm in school for two more years, and I posted because I vaguely remembered SHOT being scheduled for early January.. However, I rechecked and it's not early enough.:fail:
