Are Thrunite flashlights decent quality, or are they junk?

If they're okay, what is the most you'd pay for the Catapult V6 V2?

Definitely not junk. They make quality lights.
Honestly, don't remember what I paid for my Thrunite Catapult V6 back in the day. Whatever it was, must have been worth it to me. Did not regret buying it.

This one was gifted to a friend -

Nine years later he and his supervised children are still enjoying it.

They are not junk. Sorry, I don't remember the purchase price.

If you have Prime, I'd grab one for the 39.99 it's going for at this moment.

Thrunite has good stuff, they're just not for me, mostly because they don't offer high CRI options.

Great price!
with the money saved, pick up a couple good 26650s' (no pcb)

Thrunite makes quality stuff, I don't have Catapult, but I bought another big light from them - TN35 back in 2016 I use it a lot every summer in the wilderness - it went through some abuse and it still works fine. I also have few smaller Thrunite flashlights and so far had no issues with them. Probably not the most innovative stuff but very reliable in my experience.

Okay, so I ended up getting the Thrunite Catapult V6 SST70. The one I got is in Coyote Tan. So, the purpose was to get a flashlight that is more for distance than my only two others that were "for distance", the Acebeam L35 and Astrolux FT02S, and I can definitely say that this Thrunite easily throws farther. It satisfies my "long range" needs. And the price wasn't too bad. That's the main thing. There are certainly lights that will have much more output, but they are more pricey. As for this light, it seems good quality. Really like the color.

Anyway, thanks for the input, guys!
