Hong Kong Post says my DX order left Hong Kong on the 15th and I picked it up today. (I think it really left on the tenth)
Really though, getting something the whole way across the surface of the earth in 8 days is something that was utterly unimaginable 100 years ago. And doing it cheaply enough that the price of transport can be absorbed into the cost of the product has only been possible for a very short time. We complain about DX/KD shipping times a lot here, but really they're quite impressive.

I get USPS Priority/confirmation in two days from Florida.

USPS SUX!!! I paid for USPS Priority 2-3 day shipping from Washington state, to Indiana a few years back. It took 18 days to get here. Since it was delivered the USPS was off the hook, and the extra money I spent for Priority was my tough luck. As amazing as the USPS sorting facilities are, their customer service is PURE CRAP! You can pay extra for faster service, but if it doesn't get there on time, too bad. :thumbsdow:hairpull:
