Show us some beams!

I thought so. Looked like a big head in the picture.

This is my most powerful beam monster.

It was an impulse buy. Boast 6800lm and i don't doubt it at all.

SureFire EDCL-2T back in 019 on VA Tech campus.
1200 lumens from 2 SureFire CR 123 cells got so warm so fast I felt like I was carrying a hand greanade with the pin pulled.

3D Maglite with a 375 lumen Malkoff Maglite module from the same year.

Didn't know Hand Grenades got hot when the pin is pulled but what do i know i was Air Force?
Yes i think a few lights i use on turbo are like holding a road flare on the business end. This morning that Convoy S15 on turbo got that hot 🔥 🔥🔥

The light pulls 5 amps when it shouldn't be more than 3 or 4 amps to be safe (as per Elzetta). Luckily US made CR123 batteries have thermal runaway protection. But the batteries in that one get mighty warm before it steps down to about 75%.
SureFire later came out with a light that throws a better beam at a much less amp draw but the price for the EDC DFT is more than twice the price of an EDCL-2T, which was only a bit over $100.

Yes for me are gone the days of throwing a few D cells in a light and going about your business while complaining you can't really see that well.
Now its fire, explosions, Gamma rays, nuclear fission and a host of medical conditions caused by exposure to who knows what? But at least we can see better.

Note: exaggeration is a form of humor. My ignorance is bliss. At least it was. Thanks CPF!

Maglite ML150 with an extension tube and bust-a-glass cap

Nice Mag Charger Byk. I have the 3C and 2C Mag Chargers, the matte colored ones. I do like them a lot, and also like the glossy models 👍

Here is my son outside of our place the other night. It's a ML50L 3C, the 705 lumen version.
*reminded me of the He-Man pose "By the power of Gray Skull 💀, I have the poweeer" 😆

I know that's what they remind me of too.
Short story. I was in High School when Star Wars came out and I was working at a movie theater as a doorman. We got to see a showing just before the day that we actually showed it and it was really cool.
