I also just upgraded the TnC KeyLux AA, to a Seoul FluPic LE and it is great........the perfect AA light (uses 14500 Li-on) now with multiple levels!

I have a Cree Flupic LE and am awaiting a reflector.

Perhaps I will do a review and beam shots if there is interest??

Thanks Skalo for being the first to post in our sub forums here at CPF and a big thanks to Sasha for giving this opportunity to us! It is still very quiet here and more threads will be moved over. As well we'll create some stickies to explain and illustrate our lights and products.

Although this is not a Lego picture, I'll provide a picture later showing some of the potential of our flexible TnC SF-Series and other platforms. The lights in the picture have been and are available (some very limited quantities). We still support all these lights, some that are now part of CPF history. In fact there are products in the works for all these lights and for new ones we are currently building for future sales. Chris is doing some great work!

Awesome collection there T! I love the rare TnC KeyLux Kroll tail - so ugly it's cute.

Nice kitchen too, I've become surprisingly knowledgeable about HGTV stuff through osmosis from my wife (an HGTVaholic).

Eric, keep 'em coming. Looking forward to what you and Chris cook up.

Hey Eric, what's that beautiful light on next to the TNC Hyperlux?

Tdurand, what a great collection.

Man, this thread is killing me.

Skalomax,

The bare light on the left is a TnC SF-Series 27mm head, aluminum bezel, AA tube and recessed clicky tail.

The light on the right is a prototype for the TnC C-Flex series, a new series of modular lights we are building around AW's C Li-ion cells (it will also take regular C cells). This particular tube has the ornamentation and integrated clicky switch for improved integrity and lower cost to customers. In this thread TnC SF-Series parts/lights and the new TnC online store on post 118 I've posted just a few of the approximately 10 different platforms we are supporting with the TnC C-Flex line by just swapping the adaptors. You can add as many extension tubes as you need as well to accommodate most battery applications. I find the smaller cells lighter and perhaps more pocket able due to this, but for carrying in the hand they don't fit as nicely as these C-Flex tubes and you have about 50% more runtime to boot over a 18650! It's nice to have a light sitting around that you don't have to worry about charging as often as a smaller capacity light would require, and yet the TnC C-Flex tube/tails are no longer than a comparable 18650 light and the C-Flex has about half again as much juice on tap. We are also going to try some machining and design elements that we don't believe have been done before.

Sporting a KL3 with one of the interesting patterns Chris came up with.

With a 3" VIP BBH turbo head.

A Bare Aleph A3 head running Aleph LEs on a single TnC C-Flex tube/tail.

And lastly again with our TnC E Series 38mm proto head and the TnC C-Flex integrated tube and tail switch, as well as a C-Flex 1xC extender tube using the E series compatible adaptor to mate with the head.

Thanks for the clarification Eric.

This flashlight buying business never ends.

By the way, are you planning to sell those BBH heads at the TNC store?

thanks

Actually the 3" BBH was built for the VIPs and fits on TnC SF-Series lights and our new C-Flex series, but we do have plans in the works for large heads which might include these 3" Carleys.

This is not 'exactly' a TnC Lego, but one of many projects Chris never posted on CPF. These were off roads lights, each with a LuxV emitter using the HyperluxV reflectors (the lights the Superflashlights were later built from). Each one was individually driven from a boost circuit. Even though this setup is not as efficient as the LEDs today, it's just as bright as they would be. TnC has proven very versatile, building lights this huge all the way down to N cell lights and everything in between. These were all *true custom lights* as is becoming increasingly rare on CPF today. I can brag because I wasn't involved in this project.
