Show your beat up light.

Is this the Slate Blue hi-cri model of that light? I had that light and lost it right away (cri model), and I will buy it again, but I've just bought others in the meantime :grin2:
It sure is. It works beautifully and you can't beat the price, but it sure is made from soft material. I've never had one wear this fast.

Out of my daily drivers, this S2+ is the most banged up, which isn't saying much. Mostly scratches on the edges from drops, and the switch ears are a bit dented in, but that's it. For a torch going on 8 years of use, it has held up very nicely.

This M21B isn't even half as old as the S2+ of my previous post, and even with that time proportion in mind, I haven't carried it as much. MAO coating (as it is today) is pretty but ages from 'factory new' to 'gone through atmospheric reentry' faster than my paycheck runs dry.

Thankfully that fragility doesn't extend to the metal itself, or the torch's functionality. Even the grip is the same chalky feel as from when I first unboxed it.
