I used to have two of those Energizer 1AA lights. The first was the black version, then I picked up the gunmetal version. I ran both of them on a 14500. They would heat up quick. The black interestingly enough had a very soft boot, that when the light was on, it was soft enoug that if you stood it on the button, it would tailstand :^) The GM color one did not do that. They were also forward clickies and were pretty cool.My bedside table is like many a dumping spot for pocketable items 😅
Bedside light is a Fenix LD22.
Those are both nice entries, but I believe the name of this thread is, "Show Your Nightstand Flashlight".At the moment, my bedside light that I use most is a Lumintop Tool AA 2.0.
(cool white, running a 14500 battery.)
It's nice to have a clicky light for middle of the night.. no fumbling with a twisty switch.

Great light. I have a classic 2xAA on my nightstand also. 17 years old and still kicking azz. Makes for a good self defense weapon also. Been a great light.fixed
Agreed. I have Lumintop FWAA for the same reason, the clicky switch. Only difference with the FWAA is that it is around 4500K. So fairly warm. Not as warm as some, but pretty warm.At the moment, my bedside light that I use most is a Lumintop Tool AA 2.0.

Thing is built like a tank. Glad I still have it. Has a great UI. Press and hold to ramp down and ramp down. Tap then hold directly to high and directly to low. Love it!Really impressed that it's still going strong after all these years.
I have a 6d mag, but that sucker lives on the floor. Imagine jolting awake, rocking the nightstand, and having a couple pounds of blunt aluminum and batteries trying to guillotine you?I keep a few...
But I'm actually looking for one that is big and heavy, something that can knock someone out when smacked over their head.

That's fine with me! I keep my UV lights on the floor, they're fairly big and heavy too. I use them to light up the glow in the dark clock I have before going to sleep.I have a 6d mag, but that sucker lives on the floor.
