Sigh... pocket clips

Just read a thread that said the LD01 came with a pocket clip and I was like REALLY? Found my box, tryed to put it on my LD01 and scratched the crap out of it 🙁 dumb

I found that spreading the clip a bit and sliding it on from the end works better than just pushing it on from the side and letting the light body itself spread the clip. Then the sharp edges don't grind against the ano so much. If that makes sense.
 
Same thing happened with my Jetbeam BA20. I wanted to reverse the clip, ended up scratching some anodizing off 🙁. Now I refuse to mess with any clips.

I'm pissed at CPF's for teaching me every thing about flashlights EXCEPT this lol

Yeah I'm not messing with clips anymore unless there the kind where you take the back cap off to put them on. Pocket or holster for me...
 
I always wrap mylar film around the light, slide the clip on and then slide the film out. It's really tough and thin stuff so it doesn't rip if you are carefull.
