Silly question

I have both an AL PD and a TI PD-S.

The AL one has a UV1J and I've really come to enjoy that warm tint.

One the other hand my new TI one with the seoul P4 is (to my eyes) VERY cold and blue.

My question is: would it be possible to swap the guts between the two? OR would it be better to try a different P4 or a CREE (if it would be compatible with the reflector)?

Thanks,

Tim

I would think a direct swap for another P4 would be the easiest for Modding a PD. I hear the Seoul P4 natural white is high on the CRI.

I've put USVOH in a number of PDs & PD-Ss & every owner has been very happy with the tint. As described "vanilla tint".

Tim,

That is not a silly question at all. Your Ti PD-S is defective and it needs immediate attention. Send it to me and I will take care of it. I have had success coaxing the cooler tinted Seouls into nice warm tint but it takes me about a year and a half.

Good news is that I don't charge for my services; just pay the shipping to me and back to me when I am finished with the light and we will be square.

Take care.

Just swap the heads!

Easy enough solution, I just don't care for the two-tone look.

I kinda figured that was going to be the case.

Where would the best place be to get one (or two, in case I screw up!)

Thanks,
