simple volt meter buying help

hi there,

just looking for a very simple volt check meter and was wondering if this would be good enough for $12.50USD, considering adding on another $16.75USD for postage as I am In the UK.

I buy a lot already... Small and cheap, I buy in blue, you can choice, red and green too

Why not check local shops for a DMM (Digital multi meter).
A DMM contains a voltmeter and a few other functions as well and even the cheapest DMM will have the same precision as a 3 digit voltmeter.

As mentioned above-- you're much better off getting a multimeter locally.
It will be much more functional at the amount of money you are willing to spend.

You can always check Craigslist.co.uk for anyone selling a multimeter.

A cheap DMM usual is good at the voltage readings, if you want to get something better the mid range is $50 to $100 and the top is a couple of $100.
You can see in my DMM guide (See signature) some of the stuff a DMM can be used for.
One of the better midrange DMM's is the UT61E, as long as you do not measure on anything more powerful than standard mains outlet.
