Are there any flashlights out there take take a SINGLE 123 battery, besides ARC and Surefire e1? Or is there any flashlight that could fit a single 123 battery with some modification? I'm only interested in a single cell light, i don't want to have to put a dummy battery in. so far these are the only 2 lights out there that take this battery configuration.

As far as I know, the Arc ls, and The E1\E1e
are the only ones in production now. But Surefire has announced their new luxeon
lights, and one of those runs on one 123 cell. Your other option would be to look around for an old surefire 3p, it runs on one
123 batt.

Just wondering, but why don't you like the Arc ls, or the e1? They are both excellent lights!

There are/were a few single 123A gun lights
I believe Laser Devices have options, and the TLS-4P is a 3V light.
There is another one I think (boxy that clips on to a boxy laser)

thanks for the response. The reason I'm looking or a 123 light is because I want a donor flashlight for a LS mod. I really like the E1/E1e, but the price is too expensive for me. And if I had an ARC-LS, there would be no need to modify it. I was hoping I could find a single AA light that I could bore out to fit a 123 and circuit, but so far the only one I've found that would work is a really cheap plastic light. Right now, I think my best option is to use a minimag head and make a custom body for it.

There is a discontinued one out there. I run into websites that still have them listed once in a while. I had two at one time. But I can't remember the brandname. The model was 7002. It took a single 123 battery. And a screw-base bulb with the lense end.

I checked out the TLS-4P light, they're claiming three hour runtime @ 25 lumens for a single 3V 123 battery. But for $129 dollars, I think I'm gonna end up going with an E1/E1e light as soon as I can find a cheap place to buy one.
