Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

Sorry if I missed it but could you tell me what the aluminum 18350 model weighs? Thanks Actually I'd love to know the weight of all 3 18350 models. All the junk I carry is already pulling my pants down! LOL

Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

The titanium Sinner 18350 is 94.6g empty and 115.8g fully loaded with a purple Efest. In contrast, the Convoy S2+ 18350 is 61g empty and 80.9g with the same Efest. I do like the hefty feel of the Sinner.

I'm not into heft so maybe someone with aluminum model will reply?

Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

So I broke down and ordered a Cu 18650 host, my first Cu light.

Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

Not to mention, Cu is so cool as it kills bacteria, fungi, and virusses at molecular level. I digress. Got my doc friend a Cu Maratac AAA and he couldn't be happier!

Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

My second attemp on titanium anodizing. First one was a horrible mess, anyone know how do I get rid of it?

Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

I used metal polish but it takes a lot of effort to remove a small amount of the colors.
I would like to find out if there are any better alternatives as well..

Also, make sure you remove all components before anodizing. The heat can cause major issues with the guts. You may have done that, but just making sure. [emoji106][emoji6]

Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

If any one is in need, I actually can anodize ti...
pm me with email for works completed. I would just need the light disassembled

Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

What is the battery type best for this sinner 18350?? Flat top/pin? What brand? Thx
Depend on ur driver & how hard u are pushing it. I use regular low drain cells for my 18350 cause my driver is pushing 2.4A on high & it has a spring, so flat or button top cells won't matter.

Efest, AW & Xtar all have decent 18350 cells.

Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

Help me, Xpg2 with a17dd/s08fet.. What's the 18350 battery opt that suit with that? Is there any disadvantage using non-high drain batery other than, maybe the light will be dimmer?

Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

What's ur highest amperage?
And other than the low drain cell being pushed to its max which might cause it to warm up & not being able to get the highest output, there shouldn't be any other issues..

Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

The "dd" in the part number stands for direct drive. The cell and type of LED determine how much power goes to the LED.

Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

I replaced the clip on mine with a McGizmo clip which not only looks better but luckly doesn´t touch the head at all. Unfortunatelly the screw are.....well I´m going to replace them with torx screws.

Could someone please let me know what kind of screws (threads) I need? :candle: (Ti Tri-EDC 18350)

Thanks in advance
Eric

Sinner screws are M2.5x0.4

McGizmo screws are 4-40x3/16
