Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

I really like these hosts and am considering a build for one. I think what I want is not on offer direct from Sinner, and I'm not sure I'm up to the mod.

Anyone on here with the skills open to discussing a build with a view to taking a commission to complete it? Drop me a PM if you are.

Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

Just emailed sinner about ordering a copper 18650, but wanted to ask here whether anyone is having issues with protected 18650 fitting in the tubes.

I run protected EFest in mine no problems. I'll check my AW when I get home. But I believe there is more then enough to room.

I run my Cu 18650 w/ protected cells, no issues with the fitment.

Great news. Thanks!

Now to just wait patiently to hear back from sinner...

Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

Here you go Sir, I'm still working on finding the other two.

KuanR, thanks for the tips, I did swap the Oring for a blue prometheus and it looks great!! I have yet to try a glass lens on it.
Where are you going to install trits on your Tri-EDC? Drill the optics mounts?

Clip is a McGizmo, tapped for tripod use

Yes!! that is exactly what i'm looking for...i want to use these for ALL of my lights...Know where i can get them? and what sizes they are?

I don't know the size yet, waiting for some to come in. You can get a five pack from Prometheus/Dark sucks for $25 with a bottle on Nano oil.

I was on his site today, and it looks like there are 2 different sizes (a #017 for the tail and #019 for the head). I've looked up online, to find these, and they're nowhere to be found...Wondering if these will fit my Haikus as well...maybe even my Trident...or the Macs i'm desperately trying to acquire? If so, i may just order them from Jason. I actually sent him an email just now to see if he can point me in the direction of where to get them, since i don't need the nano oil...but no idea when i may hear back...

Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

New to this forum, I was sent here from Facebook. I'm definitely tuned in for a Damascus light, that would be way too cool.

On a different note, I like a very white, non-tinted light. Anyone here want to suggest what bulb to go with when I get one of these?

Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

I did a stonewashed finish on my Sinner Ti 18350.
I just saw Jmayot steel flame clip on his light and I MUST get one for mine now.
Such a great idea Julien.

That's awesome!! Did you anodize it bronze before stone washing?

Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

Thank you! No anodizing. The color your seeing, is from the Oxidation process I do, to darken the Titanium.

Wow, the end product looks awesome..
Has anyone tried stonewashing copper before & if yes, what is the end product?

It looks GREAT Nick! First time I see a Sinner Ti stonewashed, the result is fantastic! Also Sinner lights always have few machining marks, it's a great way of getting rid of them ;-)

That was my thought, too - looks bronze anodized, for sure. Stone-washing, for the win :p
