SixCats! wants another EDC Flashlight, but which one to buy ? Please help.

Don't know why you want two cell for EDC, but I'd strongly recommend the Sunwayman V10R as an incredible EDC light. The low end is very very low, the high end is nothing to snort at either, especially in the new XML format.

Well howdy SixCats! Nice to see you back in the saddle again. I've recently purchased (1 month ago) the Zebralight SC600 (which will also be available with a neutral LED any day now), and it's been an excellent upgrade for my EDC needs.

I actually carry mine in my front pocket with the clip (and a coiled tether), but a lot of folks feel it's a tad to big for that and use a small holster. Either way, it's got a wide range of light levels (8 to be exact) from .1 lumen to 750 lumens.

It's more of a floody light, but with 750 lumens it still pushes out there pretty well.

Enjoy the hunt!

Of late, my new light have been the Quark Hicri , Zebralight sc600 and the Thrunite ti aaa light.
4sevens has XML in there aa2 and cr123 as well. Not as bright as the sc600 but still good buys.

Sunwayman are tempting with the control rings, I don't own one yet...

Let's try and restrict your queries to one thread this time around
Good luck with your search.

Hi all,

Thanks for the suggestions thus far. Egrep, the reason I want a two cell as my EDC is (in part) that I have XXL hands. Also, living in Maine (and Winter approaching) I will often be wearing gloves and need a light that is physically larger than a short one cell. I should mention that I also plan to purchase a two cell "AAA" Steamlight to ALWAYS be on my person while the larger EDC Flashlight might sit in a Jacket/Coat pocket and/or a carry bag. Also, the extra power and run time provided by a two cell light is an important factor in my book. Thank you for your suggestion on the Sunwayman. I will be again checking out the Sunwayman line again. Hey hey! Howdy Derek. Thanks for the warm welcome back. Zebra light eh ? Nice! 750 lums! Wow! I'll have to check out that bad boy. Hi Matt. Wow, there seems to be a growing number of Sunwayman fans since I last posted this past Spring/Summer. I will check it out for sure. Thanks. Hello CH. Congrats on all your new lights, I hope you enjoy them all. Yea, I recall the Sunwayman being VERY tempting. I'm gonna give them a serious look/study. Norm!

Regards,
SixCats!
