Duggg, I have this regulator board at home. When I get home, I'll get the exact measurements and let you know. I think it is about 3/4" by 1 1/2", something like that?

When I set it for 5v, I seem to remember it had trouble powering more than just a few LED's. I need to get it out and test it. Amazingly, I have kinda forgotten I had it, and I have not tested it with the Luxeon.

When attached to a luxeon, the most I can get it to pump out is 3V without overheating. Even then, after about 20 min in the light head it gets too hot and the overheat protection kicks in.

I have used this board in 2 LS mods on my site (below) with good success but limited light output due to the overheating problem.

Thanks guys.

I'm looking for the exact dimensions, to see how it will compare to the Zetex board we're currently designing.

At $25, the LM2621 board is pretty pricy. Any idea of its efficiency?

Hello Doug,
If the connections are removed, the measurements are approximately 1/2" X 1".

Exact Measurements:

With banana plugs still attached: 2-1/2" long
With banana plugs removed: 1-1/8" long

Board itself is 1-5/32" wide
Widest point with banana plugs attached: 3/4" (at end of banana plug connectors)

Tallest point with banana plugs attached: 7/16" (end of banana plug connector)
Tallest point with banana plugs removed: 5/32"
