Sky Lumen Tange Prefected

Re: Tange V2 - Yikes!

Several charge cycles already. Work as it should...Hmmmm

Re: Tange V2 - Yikes!

Is it normal for the light to go into shock when a few drops of water hit the touch switch, and it will blink a couple of times and goes off.

Other than that this V2 is super awesome and way better than the V1.

It senses that as a press held - which is lock/unlock. When it locks, it blinks brightly a few times and then stays locked. Try it with your finger held for several seconds...

Re: Tange V2 - Yikes!

I also have 10 spare cells...Once a light has amodded LED change cells is very easy. Might want to scoup up a spare.

Re: Tange V2 - Yikes!

If you got an upgraded LED version I highly recommend the 14200 Spare battery. I only have a few left. Did a search and found these are not available anywhere. I could be wrong. You can change the cells yourself in the future easily.

OK I got News:

Bad News: 1st dead Tange V2 just came back
Bad News: Battery was 2.5V. Sitting on external charger to charge up now
Good News: Circuit seem to work great and operate as it should
Better News: Tange V2 cell is FAT no wonder it has great runtime
Great News: Battery is relative easily upgrade-able in the future should its needed like this case.
Excellent News: HCRI LEDs options coming with Batch 2 ;-)

Regarding the 14200 batteries, I found the following:

https://m.alibaba.com/product/60758741503/lithium-ion-batteries-li-ion-cell.html
NACCON mfr.
- 14200 3.7V 150mAh
- 1000 piece minimum - YIKES!!
- 20x14mm
*Blue wrapper looks similar to the one in your photo but I can't see your wrapper markings.

https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32807...tery-cell-200MAH-for-LED-flashlight-torch-and
UNITEK 14200 3.7V 200mAh*
x4 @$13.76
- 20x14mm
- Dark blue wrapper.
- Possible re-wrap of NACCON battery?
- If a re-wrap, likely 150mAh*

Just got my HCRI Tange v2 Nichia 219B, what a GREAT little light. I will be ordering another for sure. The tap UI is great and intuitive.

I have measured lumens at:

low .5lm, med 12lm, high 75lm (85 turn-on)

Using Texas-Ace Lumens Tube, FL1 standard.

Re: Tange V2 - Yikes!

How's everyone's Tange running as of late? Just curious.
