I'm an aspiring Flashaholic, and I just received an EagleTAC G25C2...it's an awesome flashlight (why I bought it) and so far I am pleased-

But before I put it through all it's paces and tested it outside (I'm waiting until dark), I noticed a very small air bubble on the reflector, and a very small (minor) amount of haze on the lens-

The reflector and lens on my Quark AA^2 is flawless, as is the UCL relacement lens that I put on my Maglite/Malkoff-

Seeing how I have read a lot of CPF posts and flashlight reviews, and I don't recall anything like this mentioned before, I wonder if maybe my expectations are too high, or if this is normal and/or acceptable-

Anyone?

Thanks-

Can you take the light apart? If so then you can wipe the lens clean.

Sealed head flashlights will often develop a slight haze overtime as oils evaporate from the hot led and adhesives gluing the head and condense on the lens. As for the reflector, live with it, don't even bother trying to clean it or otherwise touch the reflector. The surface is extremely delicate and wiping or touching it will scratch it. The only thing you can really do is blow it with compressed air.

No, I think it's sealed...

I guess I can live with it...I just tried it outside, this torch is unbelievable- 😀

Thanks for the reply!
