Hey all,

I am looking for some kind of container to keep about 2 aaa and 1-123a battery in or vice versa 2-123a and 1 aaa, or 2 and 2 if there's something that will fit em yet still be quite a small container. I am looking for something like an altoids small tin size or a camel snus tin. So roughly 1.75 in by 2-3in by .75 in. But I'm not sure if these are safe home remedies to use. I've read to duct tape the inside of the tins and that helps keep it safer. A plastic container this size would be good though. I just want enough to have a spare or two for my one cell surefire when I travel for short periods of time as well as one or 2 aaa batteries for my single cell aaa lights. Comments and thoughts appreciated!

If you are not set on having something hard, you might consider mini zip-lock-type bags like the Exy-Dose pill pouch. I use them for all sorts of batteries. Even many 18650s will fit.

I got a storage container that can hold 4 AA batteries.
There are cylinders that are advertised to hold matches that can hold 2 16350 or 1 18650.

How about a Thyrm Cell Vault? It holds 3xCR123, 4xAAA or 2xAA.

ASP makes really nice battery cases for AAA, AA, CR123A that link together. If you're looking for something around the house, I've used pill bottles packed with cotton, the free tubes you get with ear plugs, and 35mm film cases in the past.

Some great ideas here, thanks fellas. And I know ebay has many many choices but that's my issue, there are probably the perfect ones on there but without the key word or brand I can't find them since there are 10,000+ items that have to do with batteries or plastic cases lol. I am liking the looks of the soft efest zipper one for $6 though, may have to get one of those!

Sorry, don't know of any containers that handle multiple battery formats both simultaneously and effectively... But for R/CR123 and 18650, check out the Numyth capsules and extenders that GoingGear offers.

For holding 4 AAs or / AAAs I have bought these before: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2pcs-Har...rage-Box-for-4-AA-Battery-Green-/161062672068

They won't fit 123s though. And I found they don't fit my 14500s either (slightly too short).

So I found a Wrigley's Mint plastic case that fits 2 x 14500s or 3 x AAAs or 2 x AAs:

http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb...-battery-case-from-a-Wrigley-s-Mint-Container

I use that now for carrying a pair of 14500s.

If you do a search on the flea you will find cases to hold other sizes such as 18650-14500-16340 etc and the people who sell the AA/AAA also sell the cases for the other size batteries.

Thanks for the info on the efest case on eBay, looks like a decent little case for 6 bucks, same case is 9 on Amazon. Bought one to check it out.

I've got 8 of the Efest cases. They have a caribener and use a nylon zipper. Inside is an elastic srtap to hold three 18650's under the elastic and three more on top.

I label mine with battery type. Lights that don't get much use I pull the batteries and insert into the case then use the caribener to clip the case to the light's holster.

You can store about a dozen AA or 18 AAA batteries inside
