Small rugged keychain type laser point

I'm new to lasers here but definitely think they are cool. Is there a small ruggedly built laser pointer? Similar in quality construction to surfire flashlights?

well I have not seen a surefire flashlight but basically if you want a green laser(supremely awesome compared to a red one- green lasers the entire beam can brightly be seen for miles) you have 2 options, a pen type pointer - like the one spinning in my avatar. Or a flashlight type laser pointer (pgl-3) Depending on how much power and size you want the pen type pointers start out at 70 bucks for a 5mw unit from vitalspirit- and can be as expensive as 450 bucks for a 90mw wicked exreme (I have one on the way!!!cant wait) Or for the portable flashlight type models called a pgl from cni they are 700 bucks for a unit that generally puts out 150mw. They sell less powerful pgl units but for the money of one of them you could get a handful of penstyle pointers that put out the same power. Hope this helps.

Well yes and no, they make weapon sight lasers. I am interested in getting a laser pointer that has the durability of a SF. Something you would not be afraid to take camping and drop in a puddle of water.

Kongfuchicken has modified surefire flashlights into lasers, get into contact with him if you want something unique, he sold a few not long back. There are also scuba laser pointers that are waterproof.
