Smallest reflector possible with P7?

I am waiting for my P7's to arrive so I haven't been able to do any testing of my own. Just wondering what was the smallest reflector anyone has successfully used the P7 in. Would I be correct in assuming that a small diameter reflector would work better, as in no donut, if it were deeper? Or does depth not matter that much.

Also, It seems that many cheaper plastic lights use a faceted(sp?) reflector. Would that work better than orange peel for a given size?

Thanks!
Vin.

You can use the LED with no reflector for lots of flood.

Smaller = larger hotspot.

I think the donut has more to do with the reflector's geometry.

From what I understand, width = angle of beam, depth = how much light in the hotspot.

IMO faceted is cheap OP.
