So what's up with Peaks larger flashlights?

Oh noes!
Hopefully she doesn't have to go door-to-door again looking for the newest delivery.

Haha I didn't send them yet. Eventually I will though. I always carry a Malkoff and a Peak, so it's justified in getting the leds I want in them haha

Couple custom Peaks arrived. Both 519a 4500k. Told Robyn I wanted a custom SS or Ti model with no knurling. She sent this model. Can't tell if it's Ti or SS. Waiting on response. It seems very lightweight. Either way, excellent lights

Does it feel heavy?
Compared to my other SS models I've had this one is very lightweight, however never had the lug style so it is a bit smaller but still feels very light. Threads felt like titanium also not sure, doesn't really matter I like both SS and Ti haha. Threads are smooth now after using Malkoffs lube he sells

I've been asking her for something Ti for a long time now so I'm hoping so haha. Either way if it's SS it doesn't bother me

Where do you get the little lanyard clips? I've been wanting to get some, but half the ones I see seem like total trash, and the one on the right looks perfect.

Also, your Peak posts made me pull the trigger on one (I swear, you're the only person in the internet who posts them), and the Eiger really is amazing. I got a SS lug ultra, and have one of those Dark Sucks clips on it, and it's fantastic.

I'm not sure where these came from. Found them attached to other items I had around the house. Go on Amazon and search for "paracord snap ends" there's all kinds

Peak Eigers are the only AAA, USA made, potted, duel fuel lights I can think of, that's why I enjoy them

What led did you go with?

I went with their neutral warm because Malkoff's M91BN has made me fall in love with Cree's high CRI emitters, haha.
I really like the overall color rendering of the Nichia 519, but the more prominent hotspot isn't my favorite. In a frosted/flood application, it's AMAZING, but in a normal torch style, I am not a huge fan.

It's a bit warm for my usual preferences, but at night in the house, it's amazing, haha.

I'm almost tempted to track down an SST-20 4000K and see if I can get then in the non-ultra head, as that could be in interestingly throwy and compact one.

Though, I may just try out their low CRI neutral in the narrow non-ultra head with the keychain body, and see how I like that. Since I can swap between heads, I'm kind of okay if I end up with a few different heads and bodies.

I quite like the longer lug body in my hands (they're XL sized), but I think the keychain would make it supremely carryable (especially with one of those TEC P-7 hooks).

A completely random question, since we're on Peak...you ever buy the Logan delrin kit? Since Overready seems to NEVER restock the sleeves, I'm half tempted to pick up two kits with my next order from Peak, assuming I can stack the sleeves. They're not a perfect fit for an 18mm tube, but better 1mm rattle than like 2-4mm.

Never bought the Delrin kit, I think Peak will offer that kit for extra $ with their Logan 17500

I happen to have a Logan and a Delrin kit on hand. What would you like to know about it?

What sizes does it accommodate? I know it will do an AA and a CR132/16340, but is there another sleeve?

More importantly, if someone were to buy TWO of those kits, could they stack the sleeves and use them in a longer body (e.g. use two of the sleeves to run 2xAA in an MD3)? I know they're 17mm sleeves, but a 17mm sleeve still fits better than running two 14500s in an 18mm tube.

I know the Overready sleeves have a "shelf" on one end to "capture" the positive side of the cells (so, they're more of an open top inverted cup), but if these are just a straight tube, that would be maybe perfect for stacking.

Hmm, it seems I was mistaken about what parts I have. The adapter for the 14500 in the set I have on hand is not what came from Peak. Sorry but I'm not able to directly answer your question, but here's a photo of the two stock adapters (16340 on the left, 10440 on the right). The overall length of the cell and adapter does match that of a 14500 battery on its own. So it's possible it would just be a sleeve without a shelf and brass slug. I would email Robyn directly to be sure.

The diameter of the adapters are 16mm.

Wow, thanks for the pictures. That's actually a lot different than I was expecting (I was thinking something more a la the Overready ones).
