My latest review:
Sofirn SP35T
This is another example of a compact 1x21700 light from Sofirn, but one including a forward tactical clicky switch in addition to a side electronic switch. While this increases the overall length, it does provide for some additional options in handling. My runtimes indicate that it uses a simple linear FET-like driver (i.e., no buck), and my sample at least has an unusual feature in terms of a ramp back up to full Turbo from the step-down level, as the light cools. Shown below is a comparison runtime on max, with both fan cooling (my norm, in dark green) and no cooling (light green).
