I just got the sofirn SP36 BLF Anduril 2.0 light on sale from Amazon. I ended up paying $33 for it with coupons, and 3 x 18650's included, so a pretty killer deal

But, I noticed that some very dim LED's on the power button stay lit when the light is off. Has anyone experienced this? How do I turn it off? Can I even turn it off? This was going to go in my truck, but this seems like a dealbreaking design flaw as it will surely drain the cells

Well I figured it out myself, here is how to fix it for anyone else

From off, click the button 10 times, but on the 10th click, hold it. Then you are in advanced UI mode

Click the button 7 times, each time you do this it will toggle between standby LED modes, one of them is OFF.

Then, you can go back to the simple UI by clicking 10 times

That little truck in the background. I like USPS they have delivered over 100 flashlights to me and a whole bunch of bulbs and pouches for lights.

Haha I forgot all about that! Nah, I just found that at a store and thought it was cool 😁

My Sofirn Q8 Plus is the same way. But I actually like the 2 green dots. Makes it easier to find the flashlight in case of a sudden blackout, and I can at a glance tell the battery level. That is worth the parasitic drain for me.

Do you find that causes a lot of drain?

I don't know yet, as I haven't charged the batteries since first charge, when I first received the light. This was about 3 months ago. I have admittedly not used the light that much since I received it.
