I can't say for sure the switch will work with a LED module because the drivers may not be compatible. You can use version A for Z58/59. It has memory function so you can pick whatever level you want to turn on.

I would like to ask you if using AW Softstart switch set to 30% or 60% reduces the incan lamp lifetime. The question came to my mind when reading the discussion about A2 Aviator working rechargeables (please see posts #49 and #51 here http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=256018&page=2).

No. Becasue the dimming is achieved by PWM duty cycle and not under driving. PWM duty cycle means a switch is turn On and Off for a frequency according to specific rate. Under driving damage only happens to halogen lamps which needs to operate in a specific temperature for the filament particles to re-deposit onto the filament. Lower temperature ( under driving ) blackens the bulb and reduce filament integrity.
