For the M6 variant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Bill,
Thanks for the reply 🙂.
I had read the whole thread up to the point of my post, and the only info about LEDs was the post by donn_. However, what I hadn't appreciated at the time was the part about '2 cell 6v', I only just spotted that looking back after reading your post 🙂. So I guess that's 2x 18650? EDIT: having just looked at what an 18650 is, I guess it's not that, as they are 3.7v... I'm getting really confused!
As for reading other posts about the switch, I only found out about this yesterday, so wasn't aware of other threads on the subject. Would you be able to point me towards the other threads? I'm really interested in the switch if it'll work with one of the setups I can throw together, so if there's more info out there, you're right, I need to have a good read 🙂.
Thanks,
Dave.

Dave, what confused me was your question, will it work with the P91, which of course it will because that is what the AW setup is for, incandescent lights, and reducing the incidences of instant flashes with hot wire bulbs pushed to the limit, the P91 possibly being one of them when run with the higher mAh cells, and not the common CR123 cells. To find other posts re mention of the AW softstart do a search, possibly trying "AW's Softstart / 3 level Incan Driver Switch For SF P/C/M series Tail Cap" (bold from copy and paste), or a variation of that. You can use google, cpf only at the top of every CPF page. There is mention of it in http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=211090

for two more of version B.Just got mine. Interesting, when turned off in low and medium and then starting it again you can click throw the three stages. If you turn it off while in high mode, and later click to turn it back on it will quickly ramp up to high, very quickly, with just that one click. Sort of cool. Is this just my switch doing this, others? Am using MN60 with three 18500's.

This is the last setting memory feature. It will remember the last level it was NO and turn back on the same level - meaning you can set the start up level you prefer. It will return to default low if you break the circuit connection by twisting the tail cap.
