(Solar) Oven Car

Just how HOT it can get in a car parked in direct sunlight ? Well, it definately got hot enough to bake food in this case.

Not surprised though since the solar oven I built for a school project worked exactly the same way and was able to reach 240F; except that it had heavy insulation and the entire interior was painted flat black.

One of our local talk show hosts has a poem he reads every year about this time entitled "Somebody Baked The Baby". It seems we lose 2 or 3 kids a year to being left in the four wheeled oven.. What an awful way to die.....
