Solarforce V DX as hosts

I wanted a 1w UV from Dealextreme. It's a good host body according to the reviews, but would I be better to buy a Solarforce L2 body and the UV drop-in from DX. Pricewise it's nearly the same. Also, is the Solarforce Cree R2 pretty similar to the DX ones.
Your views and opinions please.

I would definately go with Solarforce. The ones I have are very well made and finished and I've not had a single problem with them. This seems to be the opinion of the vast majority too. It seems to be more hit & miss with most of the DX lights. DX dropins seem to be consistantly decent and good value for money though.

I have a couple of Solarforce single stage R2's and they are fine. The single stage DX R2's are also fine though, and in my experience a little brighter.

My answer then is, Solarforce host with either Solarforce or DX dropins.

Look a little harder , and save money ...

Solarforce L2 = $25 USD , + come with Batt and Holster . Great Value !
R2 5 Mode 4.2v or up to 8.4v or single mode 12v

From DX , Ultrafire WF-502B R2 5Mode + Memory = $19USD
Or many other hosts with R2 pills ...

I have both Uf 502B and the L2's .. L2's have more options and Bling available , while the 502B is just a good flashy for the money .

I would not sell or trade my 502B , but then the same goes for the L2's , there Keepers .... If your after a good honest light , the 502B will deliver in R2 format but so will the L2's ....
