  • Finish : Blast, ZrN(light gold color), TiN(gold color)
  • Lens : Sapphire Crystal Glass, optical grade
  • LED : SSC P4 bin - U2SWOH
  • Driver : Buck-Boost converter with 3 regular brightness levels and 4 hidden signals.
  • Reflector : High quality Orange Peel aluminium reflector

Driver and Brightness levels, Hidden Signals
  • BitZ Pocket use Buck-Boost converter and it will control power to the LED even though you use 3.6V rechargeable Li-Ion battery. So, LED will not be damaged by unregulated high current from Li-Ion battery. Off course, birightness by regular 3V CR123A and 3.6V rechargeable Li-Ion battery will be same.
  • Input voltage range : 1.8V ~ 5.5V
  • There are basic 3 Brightness levels (Medium-Low-High) and hidden 4 Signals (Strobe-Locater-Extreme Low-S.O.S.)
  • Brightness (estimated) : High (120~130lumen), Medium (30~40lumen), low (10lumen)
  • Current to LED (tested) : High (500mA), Medium (150mA), Low (30mA)
  • Rumtime (tested) : High (1~2 hours), Medium (3~6 hours), low (12~24 hours) depending on 3V or 3.6V.
  • Runtime for Signal mode (RCR123A, CR123A) : Strobe (8, 12 hours), Locater (24, 36 hours), Ext.Low (45, 70 hours), S.O.S. (8, 12 hours)
  • Basic 3 brightness levels has Memory Function. You will get next level by Off and On within two seconds.
  • You will get into Signals by consecutive 8 On and Off. No memory function for Signal.
  • Locater signal : useful mode for tracking and camping as "follow me" signal or location signal.
  • Extreme Low : This mode is useful as a overnight candle at tent. Current to LED is 10mA.
Caution : Do not use pocket clip for belt. Pocket clip don't have enough strength(tention) and room for thick leather belt, use clip just for thin fabric pocket.

Re: BitZ Pocket Titanium Prototypes

Hmm...
That was darn quick !

I heard that this Bitz will not be produced in 6-4 Ti anymore, so these will be one of those "rare stuff".

Good luck with your sale, HgRyu ! :twothumbs

Re: BitZ Pocket Titanium Prototypes

Payment sent for a ZrN coated one. But now I see that maybe you just have seven lights available and the ZrN one may be goen already. I'll take blasted then if ZrN is not available. Thanks!

Re: BitZ Pocket Titanium Prototypes

I'll take one Blast Finish if still available. PM Sent.

Celebrity in the house!!!

Re: BitZ Pocket Titanium Prototypes

If these make it to production, please make bare machined finish (no bead blasting) available.

Love the smoother finish. I'm not a fan of aggressive knurling.

Re: BitZ Pocket Titanium Prototypes

I"ll take one if there is one still available.

Please confirm and I'll send PP, Thanks.

Re: BitZ Pocket Titanium Prototypes

HgRyu, please could you check your PMs regarding my postal address.
Thanks, Daniel

Re: BitZ Pocket Titanium Prototypes

I'll take one TiN finish please or anyone that is left, let me know if still available before I send PP,
Thanks

Yes, it is, but not meant to be opened.
I heard the production version will be in 'Grade2' Ti, if HgRyu decides to put them out. I hope he does ! I'm waiting for them myself.
I think the quality of the work and the price is "excellent".

Thanks Peter, would you want refund balance U$20 ? If you confirm refund, I'll refund U$20 and ship blast to you tomorrow.

Thanks, Daniel
Shipped light to your address as per your PM.

Yes, it's just for screw driver. But it's not for open. You don't need and don't have to open the tail screw.

Re: BitZ Pocket Titanium Prototypes

Yes, I will gladly take the blasted one, many thanks! Please refund the extra $20.

Question: Will these lights come apart completely? I might like to anodize mine if I can get the guts out easily.

I'd also like to know if they come apart easily as I might want to polish the Ti. :)
