This is D maglite switch has had
-original bulb tower cut down
-momentary mod (internal gears shaved, all contacts separately wired)
-wired with a D2FLEX driver (from taskled) using mil-spec teflon wire
Basicly a drop in switch if you want modes on your direct drive P7 maglite. This driver is not a buck or boost, so if you solder it up to a p7, your battery combo has to be the right voltage match for the emitter.
SOLD (conus)

SPC I'm going to pass on this to warx23. I jumped too quickly, need to do more research first. Sorry about the delay.

Re: FS: modded D maglite switch with d2flex and momentary

this is a great deal for that price.
http://www.zbattery.com/D-Cell-Switch-Replacement-D-In-Serial-Number
$9.30shipped for a d switch
$25 shipped for a d2flex
that's 34.30 already
plus wire cost, shrink wrap, shipping cost, labor intensive(drill,soldering)=$3.70?

where's the profit?

the d2flex will really transform your mag p7. when night hiking i only needed a spec over the lowest setting. you really dont need the brightest light. when we were being followed by something, i had the option of a p7 at full blast. turned out to be deer.
anyway the d2flex will make a mag p7 into a very versatile light. my batteries read the same voltage when i got back from the 5hr hike(4hr runtime). and the customer service from taskled is excellent.

No profit yet! Im still new, so getting my name out there as a good builder is more important than profit right now

Re: FS: modded D maglite switch with d2flex and momentary

why do you have four wires coming out of the switch, all the ones I have seen only have three?

Re: FS: modded D maglite switch with d2flex and momentary

He just did not tie the bottom switch to the ground and it goes to the switch - it works just the same.

Re: FS: modded D maglite switch with d2flex and momentary
