I am glad that Capolini is getting this light. He misses "V1",,, the one he sold.:cool:

I enjoyed testing "V1" with Capolini at the water tower. It had an amazing center beam. :eek:

Nice!! Both awesome lights! In fact tonight the OSTS TN31mb was in my rotation! Not many lumens for peripheral light but a very tight and piercing beam. Soon I will have the TK61vn V3.5 back in my rotation! :party:

Wow!! 28F/-2C,,,,that is cold for Greece! Throwers work better in colder air!! Less humidity and pollution in winter! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU:party:

It's always tempting, but I'm going to pass on this one. I have the TN31mb and it's rated at over 400kcd. If I'm going to spend another $300+ on a light that I'll have to wait a month or more for, it has to be at least twice the kcd's to consider. I'd love the Deft-X, but that's just too rich for my blood. I'm sure something will come along sooner or later...

I understand where you are coming from,,but,,,!!

I have the OSTS TN31mb. I bought it after Michaels run w/ them was done! Mine is 470Kcd. Most others are ~400 to 430Kcd!! Probably not noticeable,,,just bragging rights for the longest throwing one he made.

I had the TK61vn V1,,,,,,,SOLD IT! Kind of miss it a bit. The V3.5 will have ~120Kcd more throw. That is noticeable! So was the difference b/w my OSTS TN31mb and my TK61vn V1. Both are amazing and awesome in their own ways.

The TK61vn has ~1700 lumens with plenty of peripheral light and an amazing hot spot.

The OSTS TN31mb is only ~ 800 lumens yet it throws almost 1500 yards! Beautiful tint and a tight penetrating center beam. If I said hot spot after the preceding words, it would sound like you know what! :devil:


Money is more of an issue that the wait! I decided to pull the trigger anyway. I have 15 other modded lights[12 throwers] to keep me busy! :thumbsup:

Vinh,

Can you still do a TK61vn V1 mod on these for any of us thats on a budget but 600K+ is plenty of throw for us? If so how much if we supply the light?
