As much as I love this flashlight, bills are piling up, so it needs to go to a new home. Up for your consideration, I have the Ultimate Surefire A2 package. It includes the following:
- An older & somewhat rare 4-flats body Surefire A2 (that is in good condition, but not perfect but has very few cosmetic flaws - see pictures)
-Strion Socket with Strion bulb (the strion bulb is a little black on the envelope, but works fine and replacement bulbs can be commonly found in stores)
- Original MA02 incandescent bulb
- Onion Ring with (3) 5mm Nichia CO-W white LEDS (6000K creamy white), (3) 5mm High CRI 4500K LEDs (brand new that I just received, and not pictured)The onion ring has a potentiometer on it that can be adjusted with a small philips screwdriver. This will increase and decrease brightness to the 3 LEDs accordingly.
- Custom LED socket with 3 water clear 3mm Kingbright Orange LEDs in original LED ring (the ultimate in night-adapted vision preservation while still being able to see relatively good with better depth perception than red.
If you have ever wanted to try out the Surefire A2, this is a great package to have many different setups and customizations. Or, if you already have a Surefire A2 and love it, this is an awesome addition to your collection. Without further ado, here are the pictures:

To read up on why I chose Orange for the stock Surefire LED ring (which IMHO is the best color for it period. I've tried them all: UV, blue, red, yellow/green, and white - which is the second best in my opinion.), see

edit: I forgot to add that I only have 2 out of the 3 screws to hold the LED rings in place in the head. This is not a functional issue, as I normally don't use any screws during use as this allows quicker change outs.
