very nice, i mod mine with dx 20 modes driver with stock emitter,very bright.

Hmmm... I have no idea if it can take 2 rechargeables. However, I always run my stock Surefire E2L on THREE (3) CR123 batteries using a Vital Gear body with no ill effects. Nothing more was done to this light than replacing the led and the reflector so I'm guessing the rechargeables would be fine, but I can't say for sure.
