Something from the holy grail family other than McGizmo

Greetings! First post. I've been reading. With McGizmo's current limitations on builds, I'm looking for suggestions on other holy grail type lights that utilize a single 123. If his 3S availability were not an issue, I would want to order a Haiku and a Sundrop, to give you an idea. Currently, I have about a dozen Fenix and 4Sevens, a Sunwayman, an HDS Clicky, a JIL Lite, and a Mac's Custom EDC. When available, I will order a couple of McGizmo lights. I don't know enough about the different emitters to ask about anything specific and I'm not yet discerning about throw versus flood.

Don's limitations should only be for a couple of weeks, or so. Maybe you should just wait? I'm waiting for a high CRI Mule and a Sapphire...

Well, you might as well pick up something from Cool Fall while you wait :devil: (although those run on two cells) ....

On a more serious note, no SureFire / Malkoff goodness yet ??

Thanks for the responses. I have my eye on Surefire and Malkoff models. The Malkoff, a Valiant Twisty Flat Tail, is out of stock. I like small, EDC size lights and, like a racoon, I am drawn to shiny things. That's what has me lusting after McGizmo lights. Perhaps I should just wait.

Have you tried any of the Peak lights yet? I think you may like the Brass options.

Have you gotten anything modded by MilkySpit ? He could take a Surefire E1B or E1L and make it more to your liking like add a TIR optic?

If you prefer stock lights, a Sunwayman V10R titanium XML would be really cool to have. HDS titanium, would also be really slick to own. Fenix PD10 Titan is what I wear in my suit pocket

I have that very Sunwaymann. Didn't know HDS made a titanium version. I looked at Milkyspit's stuff, but I don't think I am confident yet enough to order parts and pieces. I see that McGizmo has his parts back from over seas.

Last question - I was reading about different emitters somewhere. There was a very good post with some pics of different CRI outputs and such, but now I cannot find it again. Does that sound familiar and does could someone tell me how to find it again, or put up a link?
