Spare magazines for M6?

Can one order a spare battery magazine for the M6? (Not the "spares carrier" but the magazine thingy that slides into the M6 which looks like it's sort of a pain to load)

Anyone know the part number?

I'm seriously thinking of getting an M6 and I didn't see that offered at SF's site nor in the 2003 catalog.

I searched CPF and 186thousand but didn't find a topic on it.

You can if you email [email protected] . He called Surefire and they told him it was something like sixty bucks. I can't remember exactly though...sorry. If you want to call Surefire directly, the battery carrier is Part No. 13424-1

I got mine about six month ago direct from SF for $75. M6 and parts prices just went up, and even with great prices Dan has, It'll still be about $70.

Yep, that looks like an amazingly high price to me for a battery holder.

I guess the digital regulation and gold plating add a lot. (Just kidding)

Uh... nihraguk, why does a M6 cost so much? It's just a piece of alu, with HA3, a nice textured alu reflector bezel, a nice big tail switch, a battery holder. All are HA3 I believe. Why are they so ex? They shouldn't even cost $100 USD to make. Are they making a 200% profit?

Just know that it's Surefire. Surefire = Reliable = Not cheap = Headache for lots of fans with not so deep pockets.

Not to say that Surefire prices are not dear but part of the cost is the lifetime warranty.

The battery magazine's price did send a jolt through my spinal column. It might (or might not

) be meant to discourage its purchase.

I was planning on getting one or two extra along with a custom leather pouch for carry. My very own quick load M6 spares carrier. Well it will have to wait

until I have purchased all the other lights that I simply must own
